The Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP) helps businesses become or remain competitive in an
ever-changing world by adopting new digital technologies.
Eligible businesses will receive a grant to have a CDAP advisor build a digital plan for them, and can then get a 0% loan of up to $100,000 to implement it.

What can I get?
There are two grant options through CDAP, which include the Grow Your Business Online and the Boost your Business Technology grants.
The Grow Your Business Online grant helps businesses by offering:
- Up to $2,400 to get online, leverage social media, buy new e-commerce tools, increase online sales or improve user experience for online customers
The Boost Your Business Technology grant helps businesses adopt new digital technologies by offering:
- Up $15,000 to have a CDAP advisor develop a Digital Adoption Plan to boost your business
- Up to $100,000 in interest-free loans from BDC to help implement the Digital Adoption Plan
- Funded work placements for students or recent graduates who can help with digital transformation
What is a Digital Adoption Plan?
A Digital Adoption Plan is a roadmap that takes your business from where it is to where it needs to be by using available and accessible digital technologies. It is a customized plan that our expert digital advisors create based on your company’s priorities, strengths, weaknesses and the state of your industry. The goal is to improve your business processes by adopting technologies that will streamline your operations and increase your bottom line.
CANADA DIGITAL ADOPTION PROGRAM
The Government of Canada, as part of the 2021 federal budget, announced the Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP). The goal of the CDAP program is to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to meet the challenges of the digital age and reach their full potential. Eligible businesses can leverage this grant to pay for the services of a digital advisor (who has to be pre-approved for this by the gov’t). These advisors will work with companies to recommend digital pathways and strategies to help them achieve their business goals and increase their competitiveness in the digital economy.
