The proposed project must target markets or sectors where the company has no or minimal business. Typically, the business should have less than $100,000 in annual sales or less than 24 months of activity in the target market during the last 24 months.
Product or Service
The business must offer a product or service that is manufactured, processed, or provided in Canada and aligns with Canadian trade agreements and policies.
Other Funding
The applicant should not have received other forms of government funding (federal or provincial) for the same expenses that are being claimed under the CanExport program.
